Teaching

I have 15 years of experience teaching music, working with students across all ages and levels, from toddlers to adult professional musicians. I specialize in private piano lessons, but I also teach songwriting, music theory, and performance-based vocal coaching.

No matter who or what I'm teaching, I teach through positive reinforcement and empowerment. My teaching philosophy is: start where you are, and you are ready now. I make it a mission to deconstruct gatekeeping around music and skill: music is for everyone, and music is yours to make. If you are making music, you have ALREADY earned the right to call yourself a musician, and develop your skills further to reach new musical goals!

I offer in-person lessons within Manhattan and Western Queens, and remote lessons to students everywhere! Rates are flexible to accommodate students with differing financial needs.
